Introducing bio-based Steadfast Matt Emulsion for hardworking homes and places

I’m so happy to share this progression with you.

Materiality, aesthetics, and practicality are the sensitive triangle of your needs that I think about all the time. I only want to make the minimum number of products with the best ingredients, but I also want them to serve the right purpose in your homes.

Last year we elevated our beautiful, breathable True Matt Emulsion to a bio-based formula. I’m super proud of this change, as we are the first British-made bio-based paint. As well as the environmental improvements in ingredients and source locations, the materiality and usability of the paint is so much more beautiful.

We happily introduce our bio-based Steadfast Matt Emulsion.

Steadfast Matt Emulsion is our super hardwearing and scrub resistant emulsion. It is of course still breathable, virtually VOC free and formulated without an acrylic or vinyl binder. It is perfect for kitchens and bathrooms - and is particularly useful in commercial spaces and any other high-traffic rooms. Scrub resistant with a 5% sheen, it is a beautiful and pragmatic partner to our True Matt Emulsion.

You can use it on new gypsum plaster, internal masonry and sound, previously painted ceilings and walls. It also doesn’t require any specialist primers or undercoats and can be used as its own mist coat, removing the need for hybrid products. Less materials are of course always better.

A streamlined product range, sourcing locally, along with a clean, easy to use and exceptional quality paint is the logical and necessary changes we are always working towards.
