We began Atelier Ellis with a deep-rooted desire to help people tell their story of home. Using colour and incredible paint as a conduit for conversations on place and the joyfulness and valuable luck of having a choice.

Maps of Colour
We have created our Maps of Colour as an incredibly useful tool to guide you in crafting your own personal palette.
For every colour in our collection, we have arranged a family of eight that we know will work together beautifully: two whites, two neutrals, two mid-tones, a deep and a surprise.
You may want to use all of them or just two, but knowing that this colour leads to that colour, we hope, will make for an easier choice and a much more creatively fulfilling approach. It also means you are at the centre of it all - which we believe is the best path we can each take.
How to use
Order a paint chart and then download a pdf of our maps of colour.
Choose the lead colour from our paint chart and then select as few or as many shades from the eight we have selected to build a palette for an individual room or as a palette for your home - like a beautiful map of colour.
Organised by page in keeping with our hand painted Colour Chart, you will find colour directions for each colour. You can select a tonal neutral or two, or find the perfect white or mid tone to work together beautifully. Our families have the added advantage of being able to work with each colour within the whole group of shades.
